Weow! Another great year to start. The debutante doesn't want to celebrate her birthday with a FORMAL PARTY gathering. But for me this is her memorable day, you can have a party without spending a lot of money. Right?
I celebrated my 18th birthday party with a lot of guests, friends and relatives held at MAGUINDANAO HOTEL. A bit expensive party, just so lucky I am the only child and my parents wanted me to be happy with my day.
And I want that my niece will also experience a kind of a memorable event of her LIFE. So simple but so unforgettable.
The program was originally made by NOEL ORTEGA, credit to him of course.
Some of his lines are omitted, just to make the party short and simple. Well actually the party is called an IMPROMPTU PARTY. No planned at all, just a little preparation with the bubble gum, polvoron, candy tokens, candles and roses...aside from the cakes, cupcakes, and the food.
The party start at 7:30PM with a dinner, while waiting for her other classmates to arrive from school.
While waiting for the others; I'll call the names of her 18 BACHELORS, actually it's not 18 but 12 BACHELORS only including her father, Mr. Rolando Cataloctocan. Remember it's an IMPROMPTU PARTY so we lack of boy's present that time.
The girls will have their IMPROMPTU WISHES and offer RING OF ENLIGHTENMENT which symbolizes friendship which binds two persons together and the different colors of candles represents all aspects of hardship and joy to make them more closer together. But before saying their wishes they have to choose between BUBBLE GUM and POLVORON. They have to chew the bubble gum or eat the whole polvoron while giving their wishes to Carmela.
So much laughter heard from the crowd, inside and outside the compound. Carmela's classmates really enjoyed the activity I've given them.
After the giving of wishes to the debutante, we proceed to the most important part of the program, the RITUALS of turning 18. THE DANCE RITUALS with the DEBUTANTE, Ms. Carmela Pal-Cataloctocan.
Some dance with her other instead of dancing they render a song to Carmela, just like her father.
After the RITUAL DANCE, we proceed to a QUESTION and ANSWER game, HOW REALLY DO THEY KNOW CARMELA. And whoever got the correct answer will have a candy flower token from the debutante.
And lastly, to officially confirm the heat and legality of this party, Ms. Carmela had to say something to her friends, classmates, relatives and parents.

What a very simple and meaningful evening indeed for Carmela. And I would like to thank you all the classmates of Carmela from UNIVERSITY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPCION, Our Lady of Fatima(OLFA), and to all her cousins and relatives, especially her parents for giving me the opportunity to handle and organized the 18th birthday celebration of their daughter, my niece, Ms. Carmela.
PARTY TIME!!!!!
